Thank You Texas

We got up early on Thanksgiving to get to the airport and head off to Texas. The flight was uneventful. Ben called our cab driver from 2 years ago to come pick us up from the airport, and drive us down to Galveston. It was fun to see him again.
We dropped off our bags at the hotel, and then went to another hotel where we had Thanksgiving brunch. The girls got pretty excited about the fun decor.
The brunch was tasty, and everyone found what they wanted to eat.

There were blue macaws in the lobby, so that was pretty fun for the girls.

We had a 2 mile walk back to our hotel, and it was luckily a great day for a stroll.

It was nice to walk along the beach on our way.
In the end we couldn't resist the urge to head down onto the beach.
We weren't exactly dressed for it, so we didn't stay down on the sand for too long.
When we made it back to the hotel, we found a friendly looking turkey waiting for us.
All in all, not a horrible way to spend Thanksgiving, and I don't think it's one I'll forget any time soon.
