Activity Time- Ireland Day

As soon as we got back to the ship, the girls disappeared into the kids clubs, and we barely saw them the rest of the evening. Ben was tired, so I entertained myself for a while.
It was such a long day, but so fun!

Our dinner was in Animator's Palate, always fun.

After dinner, Kara and Kiersten were off to the club for tweens. Evie played a game with Ben where they had to try to match each other's answers. It came out that she finds his friendliness embarrassing. Who knew?
They did very well, but did not win in the end.

2019 Cork, Ireland

After the Blarney Castle and Gardens, we had a little time to explore Cork. Ben found a gin shop he was impressed with.

Gelato is always a welcome find.

We saw a lot of very interesting buildings.

Look at these good sports. We were well over 20,000 steps this day, and they still were happy and having fun.

Ben had a gin drink he really liked. He was worried about all the fruit, but ended up loving it.
I had to try the Irish coffee, even though I don't really like coffee.
I took a huge swig for this picture. It was really hot, and I burned my mouth. But it actually did taste pretty good.

A few more flowers, just cuz.

2019 Blarney Castle Gardens

Wandering around in the gardens at Blarney Castle in Cork was a big highlight of our trip. I took pictures of EVERYTHING. I don't have tons to say about most of the pictures, but I enjoy looking at them, so here they are for your enjoyment too.

This is in the Poison Garden. It was my favorite part. Everything in there is poisonous. I'm kind of obsessed.

I liked that the poison garden had plaques to tell about all the different plants. I did start thinking about creating my own poison garden back home. But, I don't like gardening, so it's not to be.

Some things were just out in the open, and others were caged off.

Ben and the kids really humored me and tried to act like they found it as interesting as I did.

Like, isn't that just the best? I went to sleep that night still just thinking about how great it was. I truly enjoyed that poison garden, lol.

Look at this ginormous tree! It's in the regular gardens.

Soooo pretty!

These trellises were so nice. Lots of cool plants were growing over everywhere.

There was a small bamboo forest.

Check out that lovely green water.
