Game Days: Go Chiefs!

I'm just going to put all the rest of our Chiefs game pics on this same post. I don't take as many pictures there as I used to, but I try to capture some of the fun! The kids still love the play area, especially when it's cold out in our seats.

At the Chiefs vs. cancer game, everyone thinks about all of our loved ones that have been affected.

Of course it's always fun to win, even in the rain.
The girls are pretty good sports. When I was their age, I don't think I would have been as good.

Kara is so grown up these days. Sometimes she becomes our gofer. She gets drink and popcorn refills, takes her sisters to the bathroom, and pretty much anything else we ask of her.
At the cold games, they all want to be my snuggle buddy.

Our tailgating was pretty fun this year. We finally have it down, so we don't have to think too hard about what to pack in the car, etc.

We all like to go wandering around when it's nice out.

Kiersten loves to sneak down and watch the players warming up before the game.

We only found face painting once this season. Usually Evie gets her face painted every time.
When the Chiefs played on Thursday night, we opted to leave the girls home, and go with our friends, always super fun!
Ben and his friend got to be down on the field during warm ups, and right before the game. I don't think you're supposed to have your phone out taking pics, though...

Ben and Adam held the arrowhead flag.

This was when Tony Gonzalez was being inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame. I was excited to see him. He is so handsome!

Touchdown!
The girls went to their first playoff game this year. We beat the Colts! So cold, and so fun. Totally worth driving through the most nerve-wracking blizzard ever the night prior.

Shryock's Farm In '18

We try to make it out to Shryock's at least once each fall. This time it had been closed for rain, and we got there just after it opened back up, so there was no one there but us at first. It was pretty muddy, so luckily, we all had rain boots.

They always love getting a gumball from the crazy conveyor that goes all the way up to the ceiling and around the room. We only suffered the loss of one gumball falling off this time.

We made sure everyone visited the restroom before we headed in this time.
Now that the kids are older, we can do some splitting up, and since Ben and Kara are both good with maps, no one gets lost.

We found all the checkpoints and solved the puzzle at the end.

We all got pretty warm walking through. It was a confusing day, weather-wise.

Excitingly, we saw a snake. Kara held him, but I didn't get a picture fast enough.
We also found a couple caterpillars.
The fuzzy ones are the best ones.
Inside the barn, it was time to play.
They love the swinging.
I myself, went down the big slide for the first time ever. It was fun.
Of course Evie couldn't stay out of the toddler area.
Swimming in corn, is asking for trouble later.
I definitely heard all about the corn they were finding the rest of the day.

It's not as fun as it looks, in my opinion.
I had corn in weird places too!
