T'was The Night Before Easter

We obviously needed treats for Easter, and the kids were eager to help with that. I doubled the usual rice krispie recipe, so we could make a bunny in the cake pan.
They did such a good job with their decorating.
Doesn't that look just like a real bunny?
Kara worked so hard on her bird nest. She was very particular about dipping each pretzel just how she wanted it. I may not have gotten a picture of it all filled with robin's eggs, but it was eventually filled up with robin's eggs.

We had too many people with K and B names, so it got kind of complicated to label the eggs for everyone. Kerry, Katie, Kara, and Kiersten got to figure out how to share, as did Ben, Becky, and Brennon. Evie and Oliver had no trouble at all.
Kiersten also took her time making a perfect bird nest.
She only wanted 3 eggs in her nest.
We all went outside for a bubble blowing break, and to work off some of those candy calories from all of our sampling.

After dinner, we got busy dying some Easter eggs for the big event!
Oliver carried the watering can all over. He made sure to place it back in the window sill whenever he was done with it, as he is a good boy.
