May Flowers

Mother's day is usually pretty low key for us. I just like to make sure I get to spend time with the kiddos. They always make me a few things and Ben give me a few purchased gifts. 

I can never guess what kinds of things they'll make and pick out for me, but I've yet to be disappointed. 

One of the gifts was spring themed cookie cutters, so we baked with friends a few days later. 

I always think I should cut my sugar cookie recipe in half, so we don't have 10 million cookies, but they have so much fun making them, so I end up making the whole recipe. The nice thing about having a friend over to help, is getting to send half the product home with them.
