Castaways Once Again

I am always anxious to return to Castaway Cay, my home away from home. Nobody ran the 5k this time, so we just headed straight to the beach.
We honestly don't have that many photos with Daisy Duck, so when we ran into her on our way off the ship, we definitely wanted to stop. She had no line.
Of course Minnie Mouse has to show everyone up in her adorable bathing suit.

I love to see all the different flowers.

You can't hide from me, Disney Magic.

The kids just swam and hung out in the clubs on the beach, so Ben and I spent a lot of time on the adult beach. They had sand wheelchairs, which was nice to not need the scooter, but they are so hard to push. Luckily, people offered to help me push when they saw me struggling.

The chocolate and champagne tasting is always time well spent.

Evie got to play wheel of fortune. She was slightly nervous.
Luckily it's the easiest game ever and she totally killed it for our team!
Isn't it romantic?

In Cozumel

Since Kiersten had just turned 11, she could go into the Edge club for tweens. She really liked being with Kara bear.
Evie was a little sad at the loss of Kiersten in the Oceaneer Club, but made great friends with our dinner table mate. They became such fast friends.
In Cozumel we decided to get a day pass for the Occidental again. The girls thought this sign was so hilarious.
The girls didn't really remember the resort from when we were there in 2013. It was fun to be back. We didn't see any iguanas this time, so I was a bit let down, but not terribly.

Ben didn't have too much trouble on Mr. Scooty, but there were some bumps, cracks, and tricky spots to get over.

The bridge didn't slow him down at all. It was kind of scary to watch, however.
We didn't bring the peg-leg as it is not that easy for him to get around on, so he didn't go down on the beach. Evie didn't want to miss out, so I took her down there for a bit. The other girls were happy to pass.
Ben, Kara, and Kiersten joined in a game of water polo. They had so much fun. The girls actually decided to try out a local water polo club once we were home, but didn't find it as much fun.

I don't even know what kind of creature this. is. But they were fun to watch. They were snatching food when they could get to it fast enough.
Seriously, what even is this???
Since Evie and I were uninterested in playing water sports, we helped ourselves to so yummy lunch.
Even with a broken foot, Ben is such a good sport about hanging out with the kids.

We did see a couple little turtles, maybe they chased away all the iguanas?

Tuckered out after a long day.

They were seriously SO tired by the time we got back on the ship.

Pirate Party Time

I made us get so many pictures on pirate night. I liked all of the back drops.

I was very proud to be with the most pirate-y pirate on the ship.

Ben got plenty of attention with his peg-leg.
The girls were excited to get pirate makeovers at the Bibbiddi Bobbiddi boutique. Kara outgrew her old costume, and was excited to pick out a new one at her makeover.

At first Kara just wanted the outfit, and no makeup, but she ended up going back up for some glam after all.

They liked being right up front for the show.

Mickey the Mouse, always saving the day.

After the deck show, we played some pirate games.

I can't remember what the game was, but I do remember that they had so much fun up there.
